Nuesoft Xpress to Offer Diagnosis and Procedure Codes with Upcoming Product Upgrade

This winter, Nuesoft Technologies is gearing up for its next product upgrade, which will feature a comprehensive database of ICD-9 diagnostic codes, and CPT® and HCPCS procedure codes. Nuesoft Xpress customers who subscribe to this service will be able to access the data sets, and will also receive automatic updates of the codes through the Nuesoft Xpress system.

“Even clients at colleges that do not bill in house will benefit from access to a full, updated library of procedure and diagnosis codes,” said Nuesoft Technologies President and CEO Massoud Alibakhsh. “Practitioners will now have another tool to help ensure that more specific, accurate information gets added to the patient’s record with each visit, which will lead to more accurate reporting.”

Get Hooked Up with a Nuesoft Xpress Lab Integration

If you use LabCorp lab services, why not take advantage of a lab integration from Nuesoft Xpress? Using an interface developed in partnership with LabCorp, our lab module automatically matches your students’ information to test results from LabCorp laboratories, based on student ID number or social security number. With this tool, your staff is saved the time-consuming process of searching for this information on Nuesoft Xpress and then retyping it into LabCorp’s Persys system.

Best of all, the lab module from Nuesoft Xpress is completely free upon request, takes as little as two working days to implement, and allows you to cut down on data entry and eliminate human error on results.

Hot Tip from Nuesoft Xpress

Try this tried and true short cut to help get the most out of your Nuesoft Xpress system.

To determine your no-show or cancellation rates for a semester, pull an Appointment Deletion Report.

Here’s how:
  • From the Main Menu in Xpress, click Reports. A list appears displaying the various types of reports you can pull.
  • Scroll down the list and place your cursor over Appointment. A list appears displaying your appointment report choices.
  • Click Deletion; you are directed to the Deletion Report Options screen.
  • Use the Appt Date filter to customize the date range. All applicable data within the selected date range will appear in the report.
  • Click Preview in the bottom taskbar of Xpress. The report appears in .pdf format.
