Interview with David Mack
Meet new Nuesoft Xpress trainer and father-of-three David Mack, who likes folk music, doesn’t eat ice-cream and watches a lot of Star Wars.
So David, I understand that you’ve recently gone back to school.
D: About three years ago! I’m majoring in Marketing and expect to graduate in a little over a year.
You’re the demographic that Nuesoft Xpress users are working with, then! Have you been utilizing your college health center?
D: Well, I went there one time for a physical. That’s about it.
How long have you been in the health care industry?
D: I’ve been working in health care over seven years now. I like being part of an industry that helps people rather than being purely profit-driven.
What’s the best thing about being a Nuesoft Xpress trainer?
D: The clientele. The Xpress people are very professional and fun to work with.
What do you like to do when you’re not training Xpress users?
D: Family eats up most of my time – I have twin sons, aged six, and an older son, aged 11. Three boys keep me busy! We go to the park a lot and watch movies. They’re into Star Wars in a big way right now so recently I’ve been watching those movies over and over again!
Can you give us a sneak peek of what’s coming soon in Nuesoft Xpress?
D: The big thing is the updated SHP [Student Health Portal] which will be released soon. It will give students the ability to schedule appointments online, enter immunization records and update their address information.
What one thing can’t you leave the house without?
D: I’m attached to my iPod. I listen to everything from Radiohead to folk music and bluegrass. I love that stuff.
What’s your favorite flavor of ice-cream?
D: I don’t eat ice-cream.
That’s shocking! If you had to describe yourself in one word, what would it be?
D: Busy!
David Mack will be one of the hosts of the monthly online masterclasses for Nuesoft Xpress users, beginning soon.
