Nuesoft Xpress User Group: A Meeting of the Minds at ACHA
Each year, Nuesoft Technologies uses ACHA as a forum for a day-long user group meeting for Nuesoft Xpress clients. This year’s meeting featured a refresher session on how to get the most out of Nuesoft Xpress, and a preview of the enhancements slated for future product releases.
“These user group meetings are always helpful,” said Rita Woolf, director of the health and wellness center at Arkansas Tech University in Russellville, Ark., and an attendee at this year’s user group session “They give you a chance to ask the kind of questions that arise after your initial training, when you’ve actually started using the product. There is more time to discuss each issue in detail, and other users often have questions that had not occurred to you.”
Nearly 20 Nuesoft Xpress clients attended the 2007 user group meeting, all of whom were pleased with the hands-on training and in-depth discussion conducted by members of the Nuesoft Product Development and Training teams.
Nuesoft Technologies Director of Product Development Stephen Wooten, was one of the joint presenters/instructors at the 2007 meeting.
“This was an opportunity to offer our users hands-on training about the Nuesoft Xpress product, as well as a chance for them to provide us with valuable feedback to help shape the direction of future development,” he said. “We crafted the agenda so attendees could go back to work and apply what they picked up from the meeting.”
Nuesoft is already beginning to plan for the 2008 user group meeting. Clients who are interested in attending can contact the Product Development department at 800.401.7422.
Nuesoft Xpress Client Teaches ACHA Attendees How to Make a Business Case for Their Health Centers
Nuesoft Xpress user Brenda Dalton, MBA, MSN, RN-C, WHNP spoke at this year’s conference about “Making a Business Case for your Health Center.” As the director of the health center at Spelman College in Atlanta, Dalton drew from more than 20 years of hands-on experience in college health. Attendees of the fully-booked session gained invaluable tips on how to successfully demonstrate the importance of their health centers to decision-makers using a combination of business know-how, marketing strategies and the higher level of efficiency delivered by automation.
“Colleges are faced with having to validate rising costs of tuition; as tuition costs increase, sometimes student health services get the lower end of the budget,” said Dalton. “That’s why it is so important for student health care providers to make an effort to gain the attention of those who influence or control the budget.”
If you were not able to attend Brenda’s presentation and would like more information, please e-mail editor@nuesoft.com, or contact Dalton directly at (404) 270-5245.
Sales Team Previews Upcoming Product Enhancements at ACHA Exhibit Hall
At the Nuesoft Xpress booth in the exhibition hall, the Xpress team had the opportunity to meet many users face to face as well as answer questions from future Nuesoft Xpress clients.
“The ACHA conference gives us the chance to learn from the experience of our users,” said Nuesoft Xpress Account Manager Chris Schmieder. “The feedback that we get really does help us keep in touch with our clients’ needs and shapes the direction of future development.”
