CEO's Column
Welcome to the winter edition of e-Nues, the quarterly newsletter of Nuesoft Xpress.
This year marks the 15th anniversary of Nuesoft Technologies. They say that time goes faster as you get older – it hardly seems possible that we started out in college health a decade and a half ago. Nuesoft has certainly come a long way in that time and as a fitting celebration of this achievement, we’re offering $150,000 in software grants to college and university health and counseling centers. You can learn more about Nuesoft Xpress’ scholarship program here. We’re not resting on our laurels however – Nuesoft Xpress is constantly evolving and I’m pleased to announce that we will shortly be releasing the next product upgrade. We have a sneak preview in this article of the enhancements that you can expect to see in Nuesoft Xpress v3.07, which should be rolled out around the end of February.
This issue of the newsletter also features a legal guide to the privacy issues surrounding student medical records. If you are a little fuzzy on the intersection between HIPAA and FERPA, the advice of our contributors from law firm Arent Fox may prove invaluable to help you walk the sometimes perilous tightrope between ethics and legal requirements.
We are always interested to hear your feedback, so if you have any comments or would like us to cover a particular topic in a future newsletter or roundtable, please e-mail us at editor@nuesoft.com.
Sincerely,
Massoud Alibakhsh
