Does Your Health Center Deserve a Scholarship?
The Nuesoft Technologies College Health Scholarship Program
Nuesoft Technologies created its College Health Scholarship Program in 2008 to commemorate our 15-year anniversary in college health. Through the program, Nuesoft awards grants to health and counseling centers so that they can automate their operations. To help health centers facing budget cutbacks in the current economy, Nuesoft has continued the program in 2009, and will award 20 scholarships of up to $5,000 each to qualified applicants. Recipients can apply the grant toward a Nuesoft Xpress™ practice management system, electronic medical record and secure patient portal.
Timelines
Nuesoft Technologies recognizes that college and university budgeting cycles vary. To maximize participation in the application process, we will award two rounds of scholarships. There will be 10 scholarships awarded per round.
Deadline for Round One: April 10, 2009
Announcement of winners: May 1, 2009
Deadline for Round Two: Sept. 4, 2009
Announcement of winners: Oct. 2, 2009
Review Process
Applications will be evaluated by a committee of college health professionals who use Nuesoft Xpress but are not employed by the company.

Complete and submit the official Nuesoft Xpress College Health Scholarship Program application by either of the two deadlines specified above.

Applications must be received at Nuesoft Technologies by 5 p.m. Eastern time on the days listed above. Late applications will not be considered.
Rules
Eligibility
To be eligible for consideration, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- You must be an employee of a two- or four-year institution in one of the 50 United States or its territories.
- Your campus must have an IT department or have access to an IT service.
- You must return a completed application to Nuesoft Xpress by one of the deadlines listed above. (Applicants will be asked to specify one of the two deadlines).
- Late applications will not be considered.
- New this year: Nuesoft Xpress clients can apply.
*Scholarship winners will receive a grant of up to $5,000, to be applied in the calendar year in which it is awarded, regardless of the length of the contract. All scholarship grants must be used toward the purchase of the Nuesoft Xpress™ practice management system and electronic medical records product. Winners are responsible for paying any amounts due for products or services in excess of the scholarship grant or for nonqualified products or services. Any scholarship amounts not used by the expiration date specified in your contract will expire and not be subject to redemption. All scholarship grants are subject to your executing the standard Nuesoft Technologies, Inc. license agreement for the applicable product or service. By accepting this scholarship grant, you consent to Nuesoft Technologies, Inc. and its agents’ use of your name, likeness, photograph, opinions, and participation, as well as the institution you represent, for promotional purposes in any media, worldwide, without further payment or consideration.
